Message from the Fire Chief

I want to personally welcome you to the City of Hibbing Fire Department web page. The 27 career and 18 paid-on-call staff members that make up this organization express our sincere gratitude in allowing our family to help yours. 

Providing firefighting, rescue and advanced life support EMS has become the life of our department and we continuously work to achieve the highest level of readiness for our community. We also work diligently to prevent fires and other emergencies in our community and educate the public to protect themselves. We operate out of three stations running nearly 4,000 calls for service annually. 

We are here to work for you, the citizens of this great city.
