Exploring Graphic Memoir with MN Writer/Artist Lynn Von Sien

Discover the rich, diverse history of Graphic Memoir!

 

Attendees will take away knowledge of the genre's elements as well as Take & Create

exercises and resources to explore the craft further.

Program will be guided by MN Writer/Artist Lynn Von Sien, recipient of Arrowhead Regional Arts Council (2021) and Minnesota State Arts Board (2023) grants supporting her work in graphic memoir. 



  • Program length is 60 minutes, set up time is 15 minutes, and tear down time is 15 minutes. 

  • Program is geared towards ages 12 and up.

  • Extra Take & Create exercises will be distributed to libraries so folks who aren't able to attend the in-person program can learn more about graphic memoir outside of the library.
