Memorial Building Arena
Built in 1934, centrally located in Minnesota's Iron Range, this multiple-use facility annually hosts:
- Multi-Purpose Arena 5,460 capacity
- MSHSL sporting events
- USFSA sanctioned figure skating competitions
- Concerts and music festivals
- Conventions
- Banquets, receptions, celebrations and special events
- Business, industry, trade fairs and car shows
- Hibbing Youth Hockey tournaments
- Circus
- The arena permanently seats 3,460 plus floor surface concert seating capacity of an additional 1,000 and standing room for 1,000 more bring the total arena occupancy level to 5,460. The facility is wheelchair accessible throughout.

Ice Rink
A world-class hockey rink is housed at the Memorial Building Arena, as is a second rink dedicated to the Hibbing Curling Club. A basketball floor converts the rink for multi-recreational activities. Dressing rooms, eight athletic team locker rooms with showers are available for competitive events.
Concerts & Large Events
Arena concert seating is available. Dry floor use measures 20,000 square feet and is available for trade show exhibit space. Over-sized access vehicle doors facilitate setting up and breaking down large events.
Little Theater/Auditorium
Theater-style seating accommodates 260 people. A film projection system, stage - including curtains, lighting, staging, and storage accessibility are all available.
Banquet & Kitchen Facilities
Dining Room
Lower-Level Dining Room is available with complete kitchen facilities for preparation and serving banquet-style meetings. Catering is provided by customer.
Great for area for hosting a birthday party, baby showers, wedding showers, and any meeting or event with a maximum room capacity of 175 people.
Meeting & Breakout Rooms
Canteen
The canteen is an intimate meeting room space with capacity of 35 people. Perfect for small meetings. Room includes seating and tables for a capacity of 35, public WiFI, and TV available for video conferencing.
Labor Quarters
The Labor Quarters is a larger conference room great for hosting business meetings of all kinds. With enough space to seat up to 75 people. Room includes tables, chairs, public Wifi, TV and video conference equipment to host virtual conferencing.
Hibbing Curling Club
The Hibbing Curling Club is adjacent to the Arena within the Memorial Building and houses seven rinks, clubroom lounge, bar, concessions, and men's and women's locker rooms. The clubroom can be utilized for hospitality functions in conjunction with events held within the facility.
The Hibbing Curling Club was formed in 1942 and has 7 sheets of ice.The club holds the largest bonspiel in the nation each year - the Last Chance Bonspiel - with 128 teams on 13 sheets under one roof. Members are able to curl every day from 10 am to 10 pm depending on the league schedule. The club has leagues for seniors, juniors, instructional, men, women, and mixed. 10-12 annual events are held each season. For more information:
