Arrowhead Transit Celebrates New Transportation System in Hibbing
Arrowhead Transit is thrilled to announce the official launch of its new transportation system in Hibbing with a ribbon-cutting event on Aug. 1. The ceremony will take place at Hibbing City Hall at 1 p.m., marking a significant milestone in the partnership between Arrowhead Transit and the City of Hibbing.
“The Hibbing community has been very welcoming. From the Hibbing Jubilee parade to the three community events we have hosted, thank you for your involvement," said Dominick Olivanti, spokesperson for Arrowhead Transit, while expressing his enthusiasm about the collaboration and the warm reception from the Hibbing community. "Your feedback on the transition has been instrumental in our route planning. We are incredibly excited to offer a return to Sunday bus service and look forward to expanding operation hours as more staff is hired.”
Anticipated Hibbing Bus Schedule (beginning Aug. 1)
Regular stops are made Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the 5:00 pm pickup bringing passengers to their final destination. Saturdays and Sundays are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with the 4:00 pm pickup bringing passengers to their final destinations.

Hibbing Dial-A-Ride
The Dial-a-Ride service begins operation at 6:00 a.m., with the last pick-up at 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. By calling in, this bus will pick you up anywhere in the service area. On Saturdays, the bus operates between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with the last scheduled pick-up at Walmart at 4:00 p.m.
