Our Public Works crews are picking up yard waste from gardens, grass, leaves and brush now through Friday, Nov. 8.

All yard waste must be neatly piled or placed on the boulevard or next to the alley by 7 a.m. Oct. 28. Please place yard waste adjacent to your property. DO NOT USE OR BLOCK GARBAGE CANS.

Garden waste, grass and leaves must be bagged for pickup. Brush must be neatly stacked no longer than 6 feet. No single item shall weigh more than 40 pounds.

Crews will travel streets and alleys ONLY ONCE for yard waste pick up and will not go on private property for pick up.

Any yard waste placed after Oct. 28 and the Public Works crews have already been by that area will be the property owner’s responsibility for disposal at the City Recycle Center.

Your cooperation in this fall clean-up will help us complete this community project in the time allotted. For questions, call the Engineering Department at 218-312-1571.
