[ARCHIVED] Cats seeking owners at local shelter

Strays at Shelter Artwork

Services at the Hibbing Animal Shelter are currently focused solely on animal intake. This means the primary role is assisting animals in need by providing them with safe shelter and care when they are brought to the shelter by an animal control officer or a police officer. We are contracted with Range Regional Animal Rescue through Jan. 31, 2025, to provide the intake services.

If any of the cats photographed here are yours, please call 218-262-1900 or stop by the shelter Tuesday through Sunday between noon and 5 p.m. Proof of ownership and ID are required to claim. The shelter is located at 11215 Hwy. 37 in Hibbing.

We will temporarily use this platform and our Facebook page (facebook.com/cityofhibbing) to post photos and descriptions of only the animals taken in by HPD with the hopes of reuniting them with owners. All questions should go directly to the shelter at 218-262-1900.
