Our paving projects got underway last week, according to our Engineering Department. The contractor will mill all of the segments first, then apply the bituminous.
Here is the milling schedule:
- Old Highway 169 from Rainey Road to the west to Hwy 169
- Gray Drive, Merryview Lane
- Brooklyn north of 13th Street
- Michigan St./9th Ave. East/11th Ave. East
- East 16th St – 13th Ave. East to 16th Ave. East
- 2nd Ave. East – 19th St. to 21st St.
- 4th Ave. East – 19th St. to Howard St.
Leetonia will be a reclaim project, which means grinding the existing bituminous into the base material with new bituminous on the surface. We are currently waiting on the reclaimer schedule.
