The City Council held the first reading of a proposed change to the city code regarding the feeding of wildlife within the urban service district at the July 10th meeting.
The proposal is to delete Hibbing City Code, Section 10.05, entitled "Feeding of Pigeons" in its entirety and add a new Section 10.05, entitled "Feeding of Pigeons, Migratory Waterfowl and Animals." Final consideration by the city council will be at the July 24th meeting.
